The oldest aviation company within the VIH Aviation Group is VIH Helicopters Ltd., which celebrates its 50th anniversary of successful operations in the helicopter industry this year.
In 1955, VIH Helicopters was established in Victoria, Canada with a single Bell 47 helicopter and has successfully grown to meet the challenges of an ever-changing industry. As Canada's oldest privately owned helicopter company, VIH Helicopters employs a team of over 250 professionals and provides a multitude of specialty helicopter services.
VIH Helicopters pilots and aircraft maintenance personnel are some of the most skilled and specialized in the industry, with a safety record second to none. Currently, VIH Helicopters is a member of the VIH Aviation Group of companies who continue to operate their head office out of the same Victoria location from which the original company first began.
In 2000 the VIH Aviation Group began its expansion into the international marketplace, and is well positioned to continue to provide quality helicopter services to its customers both domestic and international.
